The HRLA Judicial Review Moot Competition 2022,

You are asked to prepare Grounds for Judicial Review and identify the Order you want the judge to make. Please follow all the instructions on the first page of the Moot Problem carefully before submitting.

2022 Moot Timetable

Registration to take part in the Moot has now closed.

10 October 2022 – Teams confirmed and the moot problem released on the HRLA website at 6pm.

21 October 2022 – Submission deadline for the preliminary round at 6pm.  You will submit a written application for permission to bring judicial review. The top 8 scoring teams will qualify to the semi-final.

28 November 2022 – Semi Final: this will take place remotely (e.g via Zoom). Your application for permission has been listed for an oral hearing. The top 2 scoring teams will qualify for the grand final.

16 December 2022 – Grand Final: this will take place at the Royal Courts of Justice in London.  The winning team will be crowned the winners of the HRLA’s Annual Judicial Review Competition 2022.
