The HRLA Judicial Review Moot Competition 2021,

The following document forms the Moot Problem.
You are asked to prepare Grounds for Judicial Review and identify the Order you want the judge to make. Please follow all the instructions on the first page of the Moot Problem carefully before submitting.
Your submission must be received by 6:00pm UK time on Friday, 22nd October 2021 via this Google Form.

2021 Moot Timetable
Registration to take part in the Moot has now closed.
On 11 October 2021 the teams of two will be confirmed and the moot problem released.
The preliminary round will be written only. You will submit a written application for permission to bring judicial review proceedings. The deadline is 22 October 2021. The top eight scoring teams will qualify to the semi final.
Mid November 2021 – Semi Finals, this will take place remotely. Your application for permission has been listed for an oral hearing. The two teams with the highest scores for their oral permission application will go forward to the Grand Final.
Early December 2021 – The Grand Final, subject to covid 19 we hope to be able to do this in person, most likely at the Royal Courts of Justice in London. Final details to be confirmed shortly.
Applicants should be undertaking an undergraduate degree in law or certain postgraduate studies in law (LLM, GDL, BPTC or LPC). You are ineligible if you have an open offer of pupillage, a training contract or equivalent, or have accepted or commenced one.
